I’m a first-time user; how do I create an account?

Open the Trans Mountain Careers Portal and click the sign in button at the top right-hand corner of the page.

Select one of the available options to create a user account and follow the steps.

I’m a returning user, how do I login? 

Open the Trans Mountain Careers Portal and click the sign in button at the top right-hand corner of the page.

I’m a returning user, how do I re-set my password?

Open the Trans Mountain Careers Portal.

If you have used a social media accounts, such as Google, Microsoft, LinkedIn, or Facebook, to create your profile, or a Trans Mountain Employee account, you will be able to login without having to reset your password. If you have used another email address to create your profile, click on the ‘Sign in’ link at the bottom of the page.

Then click on the ‘Can’t access your account?’ link.

Enter the email address used to create your profile and follow the steps to login.

A verification code will be emailed to your email account.

Can I apply to multiple positions?

Yes. You can apply to as many positions as you wish.

Can I upload different resumes and attachments for different positions?

Yes. You can use custom resumes and attachments for each position.

What file formats are accepted?

The following formats are accepted when a candidate is uploading their resume: DOC, DOCX, PDF, and JPG.

I’m an internal applicant; how do I apply? 

If you are a Trans Mountain active employee or contractor, open the Trans Mountain Careers Portal and click the sign in button at the top right-hand corner of the page.

Select the Trans Mountain Employee account option and follow the steps to login.

I’m having issues uploading my resume and attachments.

Change Compatibility View

Internet Explorer users are advised to follow these steps:

  • In the menu bar, click on 'Tools'
  • Select 'Compatibility View'
  • This will correct compatibility problems between the browser and website and may help solve the problem of not being able to upload your resume.

Clearing Your Cookies

  • Internet Explorer users are advised to follow these steps:
  • In the menu bar, click on 'Tools', then select 'Internet Options'
  • Once the 'Internet Options' window appears, select the 'General' tab
  • In the 'Browsing History' section, click on the 'Delete' button
  • Once the 'Delete Browsing History' window appears, check the 'Cookies' box
  • Click the 'Delete' button

If you continue to have the same problem, please follow these steps:

  • Try starting a new browser session by exiting the browser you currently have open and then re-opening a new browser window.
  • Try using another browser tool, such as Google Chrome or Safari

How do I know if Trans Mountain has received my job application?

All applicants who submit online applications are notified by e-mail with a confirmation of successful application. Please note that only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted by our recruitment team.
