In our four community telephone town halls with Ian Anderson, President of Kinder Morgan Canada, 5,000 residents from Burnaby and 2,274 from Coquitlam, Surrey and Langley called in to participate on the first evening. The two following telephone town halls had more than 11,000 residents from Vancouver and more than 1,000 from Abbotsford and Chilliwack participate. Over the two evenings and four telephone town halls more than 20,000 people took part.

The town halls provided an opportunity for the public to have one-on-one conversations with Anderson and hear questions from other community residents.

In the four live, hour-long question and answer sessions, Anderson took questions from Burnaby, Coquitlam, Surrey, Langley, Vancouver, Abbotsford and Chilliwack residents. Some of the recurring themes included pipeline safety, the proposed route, environmental impacts and the marine aspects of the Project.
