As of August 31, 2018, the Trans Mountain pipeline system and Trans Mountain Expansion Project are now part of Trans Mountain Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Canada Development Investment Corporation that is accountable to the Parliament of Canada.

As a federal Crown corporation, we will carry on our 65 year history of delivering operational and safety excellence through our crude oil pipeline system. Canada’s only pipeline to the West Coast, Trans Mountain delivers nearly 300,000 barrels of crude oil and refined products every day through 1,150 kilometres of pipeline in Alberta, British Columbia and Washington State.

Our senior management team and our employees continue to operate our Trans Mountain assets including the Trans Mountain pipeline system, in a safe, reliable manner. The company remains committed to building the Trans Mountain Expansion Project in consideration of communities and the environment, with meaningful consultation with Indigenous Peoples and for the benefit of Canadians.

Through our 65 years of operations we have built established relationships with Indigenous communities, landowners, and neighbours and we look forward to continuing these relationships. We remain committed to delivering on our commitments and ensuring as many people as possible can benefit from an expanded pipeline while maintaining safety and balancing social and environmental interests.
