As part of our Community Investment Program, Trans Mountain is proud to donate $5,000 to the Parkland Composite High School. The Trans Mountain Technology and Engineering Centre will help further education in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) for students.
“We wanted to give our students real opportunities and chances to further their education in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Now we are able to offer future career options and challenge our students,” says Vince Dikaitis, Principal at Parkland Composite High School. “It’s a great opportunity for the students to excel in today’s world and to teach them the practical skills needed to be successful in the future”.

The goal of the Trans Mountain Technology and Engineering Centre is to create a facility providing a range of STEM learning opportunities for students such as robotics, coding, programming and graphics/media design. The centre will provide further opportunities for career development and industry partnerships for Parkland Composite and its students.
“This donation demonstrates our ongoing commitment to support educational opportunities to communities along the pipeline” said Lexa Hobenshield, Manager of Lower Mainland and Community Investment. “We are proud to partner with Parkland Composite High School to provide STEM opportunities to students.”
Trans Mountain’s Community Investment Program continues to fund positive legacies in the communities where we live and work.
