Trans Mountain takes our commitment to environmental protection seriously at Westridge Marine Terminal in Burnaby, BC. Throughout the expansion of the new three-berth dock complex, utility dock, additional delivery pipelines and an extension of land along the shoreline, we continue to evaluate potential environmental impacts and implement innovative mitigation measures.

Stefan Dick, Lead Environmental Inspector for the terminal, describes how Trans Mountain continues to prioritize environmental protection by limiting the impacts of pile driving, installing fish deterrent technology and enhancing monitoring systems to reduce the impact on the marine environment, marine mammals, a wide range of fish and invertebrate species.
