We’ve been safely moving oil through the Trans Mountain Pipeline and loading tankers at our marine terminal for more than 65 years. During that time, we’ve developed comprehensive safety, spill prevention and emergency response plans to make sure we’re protecting the public, the environment and our employees.

With extensive community dialogue and detailed studies, we continue to enhance those safety programs every day. We work with Indigenous communities, landowners, contractors, emergency responders, elected government officials and government employees to make sure our pipeline, and facilities and tanker loading operations continue to operate safely – and, if there’s an emergency, we’re ready to respond rapidly and effectively.

As we twin the Trans Mountain Pipeline system, we will continue this dialogue to make sure enhancements and advances in pipeline technology are fully incorporated in the Project.
